This is the homepage for the “Data Science for Transport Planning: from origin-destination to route network datasets” workshop. It will be delivered as part of the PhD School that precedes the Mobile Tartu 2026 conference. In it you will learn how to work with these datasets and generate meaningful transport planning-related results. Exercises will stretch more advanced attendees.

It is based on data from the {spanishoddata} (Kotov et al. 2026), a package that was conceived during Mobile Tartu 2024, which provides access to a large spatio-temporal dataset of origin-destination (OD) flows in Spain.
